Why my event is not showing in search?

If you having trouble finding the event you published and it’s already more than 24 hours it’s been published, here are the few things you can check.

Check whether the event is public and live. Also check to see if the tickets are sold out or on sale. Our search is linked to the location for easy and accurate results for attendee, so address means a lot. So check if the event venue you added is correct.

The following may be some of the common reasons for your events not been shown in search

The main reason could be the event is still not published. Check that the event is not saved as draft. You can publish your event by login to your account and go to manage events and publish the event.

Event Is Private

The event won’t be shown in your searched in our event directory and search engines if they are not “Public“. You can check the privacy settings and go to the manage event page, and find the option to create ticket.

Ticket Start/End date

Make sure that the start date you enter is a passed date and the date you enter for end date should be in future.

Sales channel

selecting “Everywhere” or “Online Only” will enable your users to register and buy tickets online.

Tickets Are Sold Out

Only those events whose tickets are yet to be sold out are listed on eventflavour

Incorrect Event Address

The events posted to the eventflavour are location based, so you need to enter a valid address for it. You can check the event to see if the event address is appropriate. You can manage the event address by event manage page (Dashboard >> My Account >> My Events >> Manage Button)

Adult Content

If your event contains inappropriate or adult content, it may be blocked from being showed in the event search.

Event Not Cached By Google

Google bots take some time to notice and crawl through your event. If you want google to index your event faster you can do it manually.

Enter your event page url to the Google Webmaster tool and solve the CAPTCHA. Submit the request to inform google and make it index your event.

Waiting List Active

Waiting list is triggered when the tickets are sold out. In that case, your ticket won’t be shown. To show your event again, simply increase the number of tickets.

Event not shown on the first page of result

The placement of your event on the event listings page will be determined based on number of factor. To improve the events position:

Title – Optimize the title, make it unique and descriptive

Event description – This description tells all about your events. Make it detailed.

Image – Add appropriate image

Event type and topic – Choose these fields properly so that your event is properly classified.

Suspended Organizer Account

If you could not login to your eventflavour account, it may be because your account is blocked/suspended. The following can be the reasons – bas email sending, overdue invoices, and violation of terms and services.

Unpaid invoices

If the invoices are unpaid, you need to complete payment and come back to your account. By paying the overdue, you can unblock your account. If paid through paypal, the access will be granted immediately but in case of cheque payment, it may take 5-6 business days.


Your eventflavour account will be suspended it you do not keep your contact lists clean and have poor email sending habits.

If you are found violating the terms of use, your account will be suspended.
